Hi, I'm SujataÂ
After years of working in fast-paced rehab settings, I discovered that pregnant people were not being well served with mainstream pelvic rehab approaches that solely focused on creating strength or flexibility.
This led me off the beaten path to create a unique approach that combines the mind-body-soul approach of the Eastern Medicine systems of Ayurveda and Yoga, with Western Medicine techniques of Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy. This approach has been tried, tested, and curated to create the Integrative Pelvic Care (IPC) for Pregnancy coursework.
IPC for Pregnancy equips the pelvic practitioner to honor the unique story of each pregnant client, and create a biopsychosocial treatment plan for an empowered pregnancy & birth. We help you guide your patients through somatic fear releases, integrative manual therapy for postural and pain concerns, positional release for fetal positioning, and mind-body techniques for a smoother birth.
At the Integrative Somatic Healing Institute (ISHI), we are committed to providing evidence-based and innovative approaches to mind-body-soul healing that integrate the latest Western medicine research with time-proven techniques from Ayurveda and Yoga.
We are glad you're joining us on our quest to create a global community of practitioners providing integrative mind-body-soul centered care. Welcome!

What Other Professionals are Saying...

Dr. Anne-Marie Hampe DPT, Pelvic Health Therapist
The Integrative Somatic Healing Institute has been pivotal in enhancing my clinical skills and treatments. There is so much value in each course module, from lifestyle and health education to hands-on manual therapy techniques. Not only do we receive the "how" behind each technique, but also the "why". I would highly recommend ISHI to any practitioner who desires to take their clinical skills to the next level.

Charlie Rae Young CPM, Midwife
The approach to manual therapy here is unlike any I’ve experienced before— innovative, integrative, & incredibly effective. Throughout my 15 year career in birthwork, I have interacted personally & professionally with many bodywork professionals. ISHI's approach to healing is unmatched! Their unique methods have truly transformed how I move & feel in my body. ISHI is truly leading the way in holistic healing, and I recommend them highly to all my clients.

Dr Madalyn Turner DC, Chiropractor
The integrative somatic healing technique is like nothing else I've come across before. Every session I left feeling truly cared for— body, mind, and soul. The instant changes & lasting results I received after each session was also very unique to other therapies I have experienced. It also helped open my mind as a practitioner, where I now co-manage many patients with Sujata and their results are phenomenal.
